Dal Fuoco LLC is looking for a passionate and driven Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team in Cleveland, OH! Responsibilities:
- Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily back-of-house operations and kitchen workflow
- Supervise, train, and motivate line cooks and kitchen staff to maintain high performance standards
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency to ensure guest satisfaction
- Manage inventory, food ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and control costs
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance at all times
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, and shift coordination
- Step in as acting Kitchen Manager in their absence, leading the team with confidence
Requirements:
- Experience in a kitchen leadership role such as Sous Chef or Lead Cook
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations
- Experience with inventory management, food costing, and ordering
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations and ServSafe certification (preferred)
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a kitchen team in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
